Colony is led by engineers and operators with deep experience in autonomous systems, robotics, and industrial-scale remote sensing.
Physics undergraduate at the University of Waterloo. Conducted neutrino physics research at Harvard University (2021–2022), where he designed a small-scale Liquid Argon Time Projection Chamber (LArTPC) to study proton flight characteristics, contributing to R&D aligned with the Deep Underground Neutrino Experiment (DUNE). Three years of service in the Canadian Army Reserves. Previously founded a GIS data collection and routing platform for linear infrastructure operators. Leads Colony's strategy, operations, and business development.
Four years at Clearpath Robotics on the Complex Robotic Integration Team, where he designed and integrated autonomous mobile platforms end-to-end: mechanical CAD, electrical systems, and custom software. Built systems incorporating 2D/3D LiDAR, computer vision, autonomous navigation, and robotic manipulators on ruggedized mobile platforms. Brings deep expertise in full-stack robotics integration, multi-robot coordination, and field-hardened platform design. Leads all hardware engineering, autonomy software, and fleet architecture at Colony.
